Frequently Asked Questions

These are questions we receive most, so we wanted to group the most common ones onto this page for convenience. If you still have questions that aren't answered here, contact us!

How do I power my Noisemaker Effects pedal?

All Noisemaker Effects pedals require an industry standard 9v, 2.1mm, negative center power adapter. These are not included, but several affordable power supplies are made by Boss, Ibanez, EHX, and Visual Sound. Do not use a power supply that is over 9v, is the incorrect size, or incorrect polarity, as it will damage your pedal and void your warranty. We can still repair voltage damage for a small fee, but it's best to just use the correct power supply.

Where can I buy Noisemaker Effects pedals?

Plenty of places! We sell direct via this site, as well as via Reverb and Etsy. Prices are the same on all three stores, so simply shop via the site that's most comfortable for you. We use Paypal to ensure buyer security.

We also have several dealers around the world, which will soon be listed on our Dealers page (coming soon!). If you're a dealer interested in carrying Noisemaker Effects pedals, contact us for details.

I'm outside of the US - can I still order?

You absolutely can! We ship worldwide. If you can receive mail, we can ship to you!

How long does it take to receive a Noisemaker Effects pedal when bought direct?

During average volume periods we ship within 3-5 business days, sooner if possible. In the US we include free shipping via USPS First Class with all orders, which takes 2-5 days. Priority Mail (generally 2 day for most locations) is available for an additional charge. International orders are shipped via USPS First Class International, and take 5-10 days to arrive once shipped. Priority international (3-5 day) is available as well, but there's a substantial price difference.

Can I order a custom pedal?

You can! The sky is the limit with custom builds, and we greatly enjoy doing them. You can contact us for a quote on your custom build, which will include the final price, as well as estimated build time. Build time may be longer or (in most cases) shorter than the estimated time frame. Payment for all custom orders is required up front, and estimated build time starts from date of payment.

Do Noisemaker Effect pedals have a warranty?

Every Noisemaker Effects pedal carries a lifetime warranty. When we say lifetime, we mean it! Our lifetime warranty covers faulty components, manufacturing defects, and all faults affecting performance that do not fall under wear and tear, user negligence, or voltage damage.

Our warranty does not cover: cosmetic damage, voltage damage, user negligence.

My pedal was damaged/isn't working/got a 4x12 speaker cab dropped on it - What do I do?!

Contact us to arrange a repair and to receive a repair form - we're happy to help! If your pedal has a manufacturing defect (faulty part, wiring issue, etc), it is covered under warranty. If your pedal was damaged due to an incorrect power supply, user negligence, or a gig that got a little too crazy, repair prices are below!

Warranty Repair: FREE

$49-$89 pedals: $15 repair fee, Includes shipping. Add $10 for international.

$129-$199 pedals: $30 repair fee, includes shipping. Add $10 for international.

$249-$299 pedals: $50 repair fee, includes shipping. Add $15 for international.

All repairs require a filled out repair form, which ensures we know what the issue with the pedal is, as well as where to ship it back to. We cover return shipping on all warranty repairs, but it is your responsibility to ship your pedal to us for repair.

Repair turn around times are generally 3-5 business days.

Do you accept returns?

As effect pedals are stepped on, gigged with, and generally used heavily we are unable to offer returns on our products. Some of our dealers have excellent return policies, so if you're unsure about ordering, we'd recommend ordering through one of them. That being said, if you're unsure of which pedal to order, have questions on how it will work in your setup, or if it will fit your style of playing, just contact us. We're happy to help you pick the right pedal for your needs!
